Completed another Highlander fic

Gen, with past Methos/Rebecca and probable slash subtext.

Methos, Duncan MacLeod
Words: 3,165
Set during the 'Methos' episode.
I wrote the bulk of this on a one-week whim about a year ago, and then realized everyone probably wrote this topic already, and shelved it for being unoriginal. But I'm trying to finish off some of my partials (1 down, 16 to go) this year, so I opened it back up, resolving to complete it in January.
That didn't work out, but in the end I wasn't too far off the mark. This is easily the hardest thing I have yet finished, and not in a fun way. I strongly feel that I understand Methos less having written this fic than I did when I started. Maybe my mood will change as his utter recalcitrance becomes a distant memory, but I currently feel like swearing off Methos POV ever again.
Still, I'm glad I persevered. It builds character and what not.
I feel like I wrestled an eel.
