The first gift fic I have ever received

I received Game Between Friends, a short and gentle slice of life in which Darius and Rebecca play chess together - an image which now lives in my headcanon for the pair forevermore. Thank you, anonymous benefactor.
In an amusing twist, this is actually the second Rebecca & Darius friendship fic in this batch of HLH Shortcuts, and really, what are the odds of that? This gift exchange is one of the very best inventions on the internet. I enjoyed watching it from the outside last year, but being part of it is just a whole deeper level of respect and gratitude and appreciation. It's a veritable candy box.
