There is no story without conflict! It's a necessary ingredient. What else can I do but write what the story requires?

Seriously, though, I attempted to write the definitive Brian Cullen fic for Highlander fandom once, and I still profusely apologize in my head whenever I see someone actually clicked on that fucker.
