Got a Tumblr account yesterday. I am Annavere there as well as here, and will most likely just use it to stockpile my collection of Jeremiah screenshots and sundry other images I have collected. Maybe reblog some stuff, make short comments. Who knows, I haven't figured it all out yet. Anyway, I'm there as well as here, so drop me a line if you have a mind to.

Finished a short (3,040 word) Methos character study and am unfortunately sitting on it. I do not have the energy to power through the last round of copious editing I always do before posting and staring at it is making me gloomy.

I also finally opened up Written on the Mirror again after letting it languish for months and wrote the scene I was stuck on all this time, so that I can count as a win. Doesn't feel like one. I think I have to rethink how I'm doing this. There's slow and there's me.

Added you back! As far as my fandoms go, both Highlander and Jeremiah are a little tricky to recommend, being from the 90s and 2002 respectively, so you've gotta love the aesthetic and accept the era. But both have a thoughtful outlook, an interest in exploring ethics and strong characters. Jeremiah engages with questions of God and the miraculous in the post apocalypse, and on how societies might be rebuilt. Highlander explores immortality and what effect it might have on otherwise normal people blessed/cursed with it (it's also got great sword fights).

I should probably do In Praise of posts for them both. They are forever fandoms of mine, and Highlander still has a small but active community.
