End of year, taking stock

annavereHappy New Year, to everyone on my list, and thank you all for the conversations, long or short, we've had this year. I appreciate it more than I can say.
Rest of the post is me nattering about my writing.
Two stories on AO3 this year - okay, that's not as high a yield as I wanted but this is a happy post, so shush, brain. Both for Highlander, one for an exchange! My recipient was pleased! *tosses confetti*
However, I can't talk about that one until reveals. The other was bleak, tormented angst centered on Brian Cullen and Darius, way back in March. Hopefully, that's the darkest thing I'll write for a long time to come, but I'm still proud of it.
I also wrote one super short fic which is just on DW, Jeremiah gen, Lee & Erin.
Incidentally, Jeremiah finally passed the 200 marker on AO3 this year, mostly due to a determined drabbler whose never say die attitude is something I admire.
There are currently seventeen partials in my WIP folders:
* Two Highlander character studies (Methos; Darius & Sean Burns - the former is 70% finished).
* 12 Monkeys Cassie/Deacon vignette.
* Buffy/Hard Core Logo nonsense crossover.
* Buffy/American Gothic epic crossover.
* Miracles/American Gothic crossover.
* Slashy Miracles Paul character study thing in need of actual plot.
* Miracles/Jeremiah crossover.
* Sprawling Highlander/Jeremiah crossover.
* Five different canon divergent Jeremiah 'what if' shipping fics.
* Erin-centric Jeremiah short fic assemblage.
* A short and messy Jeremiah sequel fic, the result of a late night "just write with your gut, don't think about it so much" strategem. Umm...
* The white whale sequel fic.
Not counting all the stuff that is just a synopsis jotted down for later. I'm not touching any of that until I've knocked a few of these off the queue. She says.
My ambitions (I don't use the word 'resolutions' for jinxing reasons) for the fannish New Year are as follows:
Finish three of those WIPS. Any three will do.
Jeremiah rewatch. It's been four years since I did the whole thing (I tend to cherrypick just what I need a refresher on) and I'm gonna treat myself during the long winter months ahead.
Back to work on the white whale.
