Rather horrible day yesterday. A woman I haven't spoken with since she moved to another state (we would occasionally text) offered to call. I agreed, but ended up barely able to speak. There was just nothing I was able to come up with to say, other than generalities and practicalities. Talking is a skill, which has rusted with disuse, and it feels like I made a mistake and just made her sad and look forward to hanging up, which I don't blame her for.

And today I had to go get a new phone, because the little local service provider was bought out by T Mobile. So now I have a new phone, which has a different layout and feel, and which I now really do not want to use.

So, not the best couple of days.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a fun meme I could fill out, or a fannish topic you want me to write about? It would be appreciated. I would like to get my mind off of my life.
