This show is definitely cooking. Exactly to my tastes. Wind up an ethical argument and let it run for 45 minutes. I'm up to 'I Will Repay.'
Nick is not a good vampire dad.
Natalie finally got a spotlight episode, and her rant to Nick about vampirism not being the end of the world and his responses were so good. Both of their perspectives felt earned by the previous eight episodes.
I was a bit weirded out by Nick hypnotizing the poor widow. But I guess they needed that reset button.
One thing this show is making me newly appreciate about Highlander is the glorious flashback transitions. Nick just has flashbacks, zero warning, no filter or sound to indicate it, just blink and there's a random beach and a beggar woman running along it.
I will have to make an icon for this show, but most of the images I found online are in vamp face, and I think grabbing a YT screenshot will be in too poor a resolution even for me.
However, I did make my next default icon, so I'm set for whatever the year upcoming holds.
